Ingredients to AVOID in personal care products
What you put on your skin can go into your body to affect your health and sense of well-being - either negatively or positively. You can choose which . . . if you know the facts (which the "cosmetic conspiracy" wants to hide from you).
As our body's biggest organ, your Skin is your most important immune defense barrier as well as your largest organ for eliminating waste. Commercial products with harmful petroleum ingredients can plasticize and "constipate" your skin, making germs more likely to get in and toxins less likely to get out of your body. The result: Neither you nor your skin are as radiant and healthy as you could be! Every day we use products that we think are safe; but the truth is that products are NOT always safe – and manufacturers don't have to tell us so. Ever since 1938 - when the PDA granted self-regulation to the cosmetics industry - such products can be marketed without government approval of ingredients, regardless of what tests show.
Most of the 25,000 chemicals used have not been tested for long-term toxic effects. In a typical day, you might be exposed to over 200 different chemicals, many of which are suspected of causing cancer or juggling hormones. EPA tests conclude that ingredients in shampoos, dyes, and other personal care products "maybe playing havoc with hormones that control reproduction and development.

Strong enough to remove barnacles from boats! The EPA considers PG so toxic that workers are required to wear protective clothing and to dispose of PG by burying it in the ground. PG penetrates the skin so quickly, the EPA warns against contact to prevent brain, liver, and kidney abnormalities. But there isn't even a warning label on products such as stick deodorants, where the concentration is greater than in most industrial applications.
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) & Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES). Detergents that pose serious health threats. Used in garage floor cleaners and engine degreasers - and in 90% of personal-care products that foam. Animals exposed to SLS experience eye damage, depression, labored breathing, diarrhea, severe skin irritation, and even death. Young eyes may not develop properly if exposed to SLS. May damage the skin's immune system. Can be transformed into nitrosamines, a potent class of carcinogens. Your body may retain the SLS for up to five days and maintain residual levels in the heart, liver, lungs, and brain.
DEA (diethanolamine). MEA (Monoethanolaniine) & TEA (triethanolamine): Hormone-disrupting chemicals that can form cancer-causing nitrates. It may produce dioxin, a hormone-disrupting chemical with toxic effects measured in the parts per trillion; that is only one drop in 300 Olympic-size swimming pools! Hormone disrupters pose enormous longterm chronic health risks. It can change genetic material, decrease fertility and sexual function, and foster birth defects. Internally, it can lead to cold sweats, circulatory collapse, and convulsions. Stored in body fat, it can accumulate to toxic levels, damaging the lxiver, kidneys and lungs, and can cause paralysis, brain hemorrhages and heart problems. Tufts University School of Medicine says Triclosan can force the emergence of "super bugs" that it cannot kill. Its widespread use in antibacterial cleansers, toothpastes and household products may have nightmarish implications on future generations.

Work Till Age 85
The verdict is in. The latest report shows us that we may have to continue working longer. Depending on how much we had been earning, we may even need to work until we are 85. That is 85 as in years. So much for that retirement.
Well, dust off your briefcase Granny and Pop, it is ‘back to work we go’. Just when we had plans for travel, time for the grandkids or our favorite hobby, it all went up in smoke.
Many senior citizens at that age still possess great health and stamina. But, for many it means working when we have ill health or are caring for a spouse 24/7 and just don’t have the ability or time to return to a job.
Add to the problem of even finding a job if they have already hung up their hats. Those lucky enough to have kept their jobs or those lucky enough to find some menial job to do may bring in a pittance. Supposedly most of us at this age don’t have qualifications to be hired. Or do we?
We do need to think about this seriously. Too many seniors are already cutting corners by skipping medication dosages, going without insurance and A/C or are without available conveyance of their own.
Okay, I will admit that is only a small percentage, but it most often is not going to be easy for people that age to keep working if they need to. Enough to make a difference that is.
But, do we have qualifications to do a great job? Yes. We have experience from previous jobs or positions that we have held and developed leadership abilities and first-hand knowledge that the young don’t possess. But, try telling that to some CEO when they have the world of young people to choose from.
This is why I realized that many of us still have the ability to even run a business of our own. YES, a business of our very own. Not where you would have to have a store front, employees and all the expenses of the electricity, insurance rent etc., but a networking business that will double and triple your efforts with the same amount of time and effort.
I have found and started one such business, that I can share with you. There is nothing – NOTHING – even remotely effective in generating income as the combination of the company, XanGo™, its products, its pay structure and a video system that I use, in the entire industry.
You and I can build a huge business by simply sending out professional videos. It sure beats the time and cost of sending out CDs or DVDs as people used to do.

I am 78, rapidly approaching 79, but don’t under estimate my expertise in business. My role model is a ‘young lady’ that is my age that built a business to lofty heights when she brought her young niece into the business. You don’t need to do it all. Just share with those that want what you want.

Well, dust off your briefcase Granny and Pop, it is ‘back to work we go’. Just when we had plans for travel, time for the grandkids or our favorite hobby, it all went up in smoke.
Many senior citizens at that age still possess great health and stamina. But, for many it means working when we have ill health or are caring for a spouse 24/7 and just don’t have the ability or time to return to a job.
Add to the problem of even finding a job if they have already hung up their hats. Those lucky enough to have kept their jobs or those lucky enough to find some menial job to do may bring in a pittance. Supposedly most of us at this age don’t have qualifications to be hired. Or do we?
We do need to think about this seriously. Too many seniors are already cutting corners by skipping medication dosages, going without insurance and A/C or are without available conveyance of their own.
Okay, I will admit that is only a small percentage, but it most often is not going to be easy for people that age to keep working if they need to. Enough to make a difference that is.
But, do we have qualifications to do a great job? Yes. We have experience from previous jobs or positions that we have held and developed leadership abilities and first-hand knowledge that the young don’t possess. But, try telling that to some CEO when they have the world of young people to choose from.
This is why I realized that many of us still have the ability to even run a business of our own. YES, a business of our very own. Not where you would have to have a store front, employees and all the expenses of the electricity, insurance rent etc., but a networking business that will double and triple your efforts with the same amount of time and effort.
I have found and started one such business, that I can share with you. There is nothing – NOTHING – even remotely effective in generating income as the combination of the company, XanGo™, its products, its pay structure and a video system that I use, in the entire industry.
You and I can build a huge business by simply sending out professional videos. It sure beats the time and cost of sending out CDs or DVDs as people used to do.

I am 78, rapidly approaching 79, but don’t under estimate my expertise in business. I have built to a producer level in another business before I found that this was an easier business to work and be able to earn higher income faster. I don’t have to deliver the products and I can do much of my business right from home. I don’t need a warehouse. Many meetings and trainings that I avail myself of are right on the computer.
My role model is a ‘young lady’ that is my age that built a business to lofty heights when she brought her young niece into the business. You don’t need to do it all. Just share with those that want what you want.
