Business Building Discussion

I have made it possible for people to leave comments on my blog, however they don't seem to take advantage of it.

I thought it would be a fun idea to start a discussion on a particular subject, i.e. "What do you think about which business building techniques are most productive?"

For years the same ideas and frame work has been pretty much set in stone. That is making 3 way calls with your up line, introducing your prospect to your up line, making lists of family and friends, approaching anyone within 6 feet of you, handing out flyers at malls, placing flyers on windshields, using scripts and phones to talk to prospects and handing out CDs or DVDs or educating someone instead of approaching them with the idea of a product or business that you have to offer. Everyone needs help when starting a business. Even though they may be thoroughly indoctrinated in another business, they don't really know anything about the new business. To use the best system will be more apt to guarantee success than if you run around scatter brained 'willy-nilly'.

Some of these are a little newer thoughts than others. Which have you used? Which have you found to be effective or not? Which do you stand by loyally? Which new system is better than what we have used for years? Do you think outside of the box? Are there any that you think should be discarded in favor of newer ideas? Are we stuck in older methods or are they so proven that it is not a good idea to change anything? Are there any that you cannot accomplish because of your abilities (not excuses, but abilities such as deafness, blindness, physically handicapped etc.)?

Looking forward to throwing this around. There are so many personalities out there that I am sure we will come up with some great posts. NO, I do not think we should reinvent the wheel if it is working, but we may have to rethink some ideas just because times change. We never used to even think about using a cell phone or texting someone.
